How important is a student’s GPA compared to other factors in the college admissions process?
A student’s high school grade point average is the single most important point of evaluation on his or her college application. A high GPA speaks volumes about a student-it not only demonstrates their natural intelligence, but is also testament to their hard work and perseverance.
At Marksmen, our programs are designed for students to get ahead of their curriculum-not simply to get even. With the guidance of our instructors, student will develop the intellectual ability and work ethic required to get high grades.
What subjects are taught at Marksmen Academy?
Marksmen Academy dedicates its academic programs to the two fundamental subjects: Math and English. Below is summary of our course listings. The objective of our Math and English programs is to help students earn a final grade of ‘A’ in their high school courses, as well as prepare for a variety of exams that test students’ proficiency in English and Math.
Math: Geometry, Alegebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I
All courses include special preparation for: SAT Reasoning Test, SAT II Math 2C, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC
English: Intensive Reading and Writing Levels I-IV
All courses include special preparation for: SAT Reasoning Test, SAT II English, AP Literature, AP Rhetoric
